Massage and Reflexology
The benefits of massage are to relax, soothe, heal, ease tension, stiffness, pain and enhance your well-being. Regular massage can have the effect of strengthening and toning the entire body mechanism, helping to prevent unnecessary strain and injuries which may otherwise occur due to excess tension. Massage can stimulate or calm the nervous system depending on what is required by the individual, thereby reducing fatigue and re-energising the body. There is now growing evidence that massage can be effective in relieving some chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia and low back pain. Stress related conditions such as mild depression, insomnia and anxiety can benefit from regular massage. Although a single massage will be enjoyable, the effects of massage are cumulative and a course of massage treatments will bring the most benefits. Massage and clinically proven Celluma near infrared light therapy can be used together to reduce inflammation and increase micro-circulation encouraging the body's natural healing abilities. Celluma LED light therapy treatment has been used to treat military personnel in the US and has found to be effective in treating muscle, joint and arthritic pain. It works by using proven wavelengths to stimulate a natural response in human tissue that can increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, ease muscle pain, relieve joint stiffness and enhance overall cell performance; thereby encouraging the body's natural healing abilities.
